  • Occupation: Retired Fire Chief
  • Resident of HMB for 32 years, beginning my fire service career as a firefighter for HMB Fire District.
  • Served the HMB Fire District as a Firefighter and Captain for 23 years.
  • Fire Chief for the Point Montara Fire District for over 3 years.
  • Fire Chief for the City of Brisbane for over 3 years from which I retired in 2000.
  • My education includes a Masters Degree in Public Administration and an Associate Degree in Fire Science.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Through informed board leadership assure accountability based on a single standard applied uniformily to all in the Fire District.
  • Promote efficient and effective communication at all levels in the Fire District.
  • Promote, support and establish an organization committed to teamwork and participation by all employees.
Position Papers
Change for better service and support of our professional firefighters.
There are serious problems in the Fire District characterized by accountibility, communication, leadership, teamwork, and uniforms standards for all employees.
