Janet Fogarty is an attorney specializing in real estate and land use issues. She has been an attorney since January of 1992, and is the owner of her law firm, Janet Fogarty & Associates, located in Burlingame. As a land use expert, Ms. Fogarty taught Land Use law at San Jose State University in a Masters of Urban Planning program. Ms. Fogarty has represented government entities, non-profit agencies, small and large limited partnerships, partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies, as well as individuals, assisting them in their transactions, resolving disputes, and obtaining permits and approvals from government agencies. Ms. Fogarty is known for her ability to negotiate favorable resolutions to difficult matters, using creative ideas to find logical solutions.
Ms. Fogarty has been married for over 34 years to husband, Bill Fogarty. Mr. Fogarty is a senior partner in a large regional accounting firm. They have a son, Bill, who is a policeman in the City of San Bruno. The family has lived in Millbrae for 25 years.
