Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of South San Francisco

I am a 40 year resident of South San Francisco. I was appointed to the City Council in December of 2002. I have a long history of being active in community and civic affairs, serving for 18 years as a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission and 2 years as the City's Code Enforcement Hearing Officer. I have also served as president of the Avalon - Brentwood Homeowners Association for 16 years. Additionally, I coached youth baseball for 7 years and was a scout leader for 2 years.

I have been married to Elaine for 40 years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.

I hold a B.S. degree in Business Management and have earned several professional designations, including Real Property Administrator and Professional Property Manager. I have retired from San Francisco State University, having served as a Director and Manager in both the Plant Operations and Fiscal Affairs Departments. I currently serve as a consultant to the University in the Fiscal Affairs Department.
