Candidate for
Board Member; Menlo Park Fire Protection District

Our Fire District continues to be one of the best. During my past four years of service on the Board, we upgraded our response fleet; hired a new fire chief and enhanced the management staff; paid off long term loans and ensured financially stability; raised department standards; improved fire protection, life safety, and community education and outreach programs; and assisted in the response and recovery of the September 11 tragedies.

My work in the area of emergency service for the past 20 years as a manager, fire fighter, paramedic, and consultant has given me a qualified understanding of the dynamics of this business. Our Fire District is committed to maintaining its high standards in emergency services, preparedness, and management. I am committed to ensuring that these principles are maintained. As a leader, I will continue to support new ideas, innovations, and technologies while maintaining financially responsible.
