Questions & Answers

1. How would you implement your top priority?

Finneytown has a long and successful tradition of meeting the educational needs of a diverse student population. This year's reorganization of the elementary schools has put us on track for improved long term success. In order to fully capitalize on our past success, we need to use regular meetings of the Continuous Improvement Plan Committee to develop and communicate long-term plans and specific, measurable goals for all of the CIP objectives.

2. How can the School Board work with local government and the community on use of school facilities for after school programs and recreations?

The Finneytown School Board should develop clear lines of communication with any organization interested in using school facilities for after school programs and extra-curricular activities. The School District should strive in all cases to encourage full use of District facilities, which will help to build a sense of community and lead to increased family involvement and improved student achievement.
