My family and I have lived in Blue Ash since 1990,when we moved from Indianapolis with my wife(Tina's)promotion that year, this is when we made a decision to give our boys, Mathew and Mark, a full time parent at home. This task became mine, I put my career as a chef on the shelf and learned to be a domestic enginneer, quit a task. I became involed in the community, first at Blue Ash Elementary, Greene School, the Junior High, and then the High School. Also started working with parks and recreation in Blue Ash teaching a soccer program in the winter for 4 and 5 yr olds. I'm still involved to this day. When my boys started Cub Scouts, I became a Den Leader, went through all availible training, for 6 years, then we moved to Boy Scouts. I continued my training to the Woodbadge level.I'm still a merit badge counsler.I joined the Greater Sycamore Soccer Association Board of Trustees in 1991, since that time we have introduced spring soccer,small-sided teams,an expanded Recplus program and this year a Club level soccer, I have coached for over 12 years. The Sycamore Schools have given me an apportunity to be of sevice, as the light guy for Blue ASh Elementary variety show, Dance Chaparone Chairperson for the Jr. high and many years working on After-prom and doing the ice sulpure for the Oddcouples ball.Being of sevice to the people is what I like to do. We joined Blue Ash Presbyterian Church in 1995, I have been an Elder/session member since 1997, serving on Christian Education,Fellowship and currently Evanglism, I'm also the Elder Commisioner to Presbytery of Cincinnati from BAPC. I returned to my carreer as a Chef in Jan. 2000 working at Ethicon Endo-Surgery in Blue Ash.Being involved in the community for over 12 years has given me the insite and drive to do be a council member, service to the people, discern their needs and being a good listener is what is do best, most of all I bring enthusiasum, and dedication to the people of Blue Ash.
