I was born and bred in Carmichael attending public schools in the San Juan Unified School District. I graduated from Del Campo High School in 1988.

After completing a Bachelor's Degree at California State University, Chico in 1993, I returned to Sacramento and worked for Sports Leisure Vacations until 1999 when I joined the "family business" of real estate. I'm a fourth generation Realtor working for Century 21 Select, Inc. in Citrus Heights, an office that was originally started by my grandfather.

My wife Susan and I have two children, Kendall who is 5 and Andrew who is 3. We live in the "old neighborhood" in Carmichael, within walking distance of Schweitzer Elementary School where I began school.
