Increasing Available Parking/Constructing New GaragesWe need to add more multi-level parking garages. The city might also provide more space for the elderly to park, as it already does for the handicapped. Signs directing drivers to parking areas already available need to be installed on North & South Broadway, North Main Street and Locust Street. Finally, the parking meters need to be free on more federal holidays, starting with Veteran's Day. The more parking availability, the last traffic congestion. It is that simple. If you want to be able to find more parking, if you want better access and if you want to give our Meter Maids more days off then please vote for me, David Yuers, on November 2nd. |
