Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Pollock Pines School District

I believe in working with others to set goals, puting good/qualified people in place to reach those goals, reviewing their performance, holding them accountable, but staying out of the way and letting them do their jobs. Making a difference sometimes means acting, sometimes just staying out of people's way.

I believe in process, in puting personal ego aside and listening to and considering all the concerns and ideas of others, knowing that in the end I will have to make a carefully weighed decision with fellow Board members. I have at times prayed for a little wisdom to make those decisions.

I believe a school board member must be first and foremost an advocate for children.
