Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Gonzales

I am a life long resident of Gonzales. I was born in Guadalajara-Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to Gonzales at age 2 months. I became a U.S. Citizen at the age of 21. I attended elementary, middle and high schools in Gonzales. I graduated from Gonzales High School in 1986. I've been married to Daniel Gutierrez, a Gonzales Volunteer Fire Fighter, for twelve years and we have two children ages 8 and 10 who attend Gonzales schools. My parents are Albino and Micaela Jimenez. I also have 2 brothers Albino "Al" and Ramon Jimenez, all of Gonzales.

I am currently employed as a Supervising Child Support Officer for Monterey County. I have worked for Monterey County for nearly 9 years and I had previously worked in collections, fraud investigations and business management for an additional 9 years.
