Education: Bachelors of Arts in English from the University of California Davis; Teaching Credential from the University of California Davis, Working towards completion of a Master's in Education from the University of California Davis.

Employment Experience: Twenty years of sales management experience; Small business owner; Membership Director for Family Winemakers of California,(non-profit organization of California winemakers),and currently a Language Arts teacher.

Family: Three children and five grandchildren.

Community Service Volunteerism: Former certified instructor for RadKids, and non-profit organization that promotes and provides safety training for children and their parents.
