Candidate for
Board Member; Goleta Union School District

Born and raised in the Goleta area, I attended Fairview School, Goleta Valley Junior High School, and Dos Pueblos High School prior to going on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Business / Finance from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

I am also a licensed California Real Estate Broker which will help the district with the management of their 9 leases for various real estate holdings.

My parents were both local teachers and I understand the hardship of being a teacher and making it in this high cost of living area.

After graduating I started at Delco Electronics in the Finance Program Office and worked budgets for major space and Government programs. I moved on to the Contracts Department at Delco and 20 years later I am now at ABLE Engineering as the head of Contracts. In the 3 years that I have been with ABLE Engineering we have grown the business from $20M per year to $45M per year. It is also the most profitable it has been in its 25 years.

I have been regularly attending GUSD meetings since realizing the impact the Board can have on the lives of the families in the area. I want my children to experience the small neighborhood feeling and quality that I enjoyed growing up in Goleta.
