Fiscal Responsibility

For me, fiscal responsibility is not just a slogan. I have already worked with other parents to save the District over a million dollars while providing students with the best possible facilities at La Patera School.

I will continue to work to spend the District's money wisely while providing a great education. I will also provide leadership in making sure that we are doing right by the children, their parents, and the taxpayers.

An Outstanding Education for All

I am a firm believer in public education and I am committed to ensuring that all of the students in the Goleta Union School District have access to an outstanding education. One way to do that is to make sure that the PTAs shouldn't have to spend their money on science teachers like they do now. Dedicated science teachers should be available to all.

Good Schools? Why not Great Schools!

I am familiar with the challenges facing the Goleta Union School District since I am the only candidate, along with one other fellow, to have years of experience with the school board. During that time I have participated in many issues and have helped many parents. Please help me make our good schools GREAT schools by voting for me, Dean Nevins, November 2nd.
