Frank Jewett is seeking re-election to the West Valley/Mission Community College District to continue the work and contributions of his first 4 years term. Frank's vision and objectives for WVMCCD include the following:

LEADERSHIP & INNOVATION

• Partnerships between students, faculty and administration of the District to achieve mutual objectives, higher standards and "Best Practices" relative to the mission of the District and the Colleges
• Expand and improve strategic partnerships between the District and the leading business enterprises in Silicon Valley. Corporate sponsorship for District programs and facilities
• Create an Incubator to support start up companies in technology related ventures, with a potential significant Return on Investment to the District from equity participation

• Quality education, recognized as equal to or better than any Community College in the nation
• Promote managed growth and educational initiatives while providing competitive compensation and job satisfaction for the faculty, staff and administration of the District
• Increase the transfer rate to private, UC & CSU campuses

• Active involvement in passage of the pending bond Measure H for Colleges facilities improvement
• Establish long term financial plan for District that stipulates prudent fiscal management
• Serve as a leader for the efficient use and allocation of limited educational dollars
