Water is a main campaign issue
Water is my main campaign issue. Our aquifer is in overdraft, and it has been in overdraft for over 20 years. The recycled water we produce goes mostly to the bay. We need to hook up more users for recycled water in order to help save the Santa Margarita Aquifer. Conservation is very helpful, and recharge is a must. Every decision we make must take water in consideration.
