I will work to attract and keep businesses and look for ways to upgrade aging areas, while retaining the small-town atmosphere of La Mesa.
Dave supports economic development in the City of La Mesa that will improve the quality of life in our community. The residents of La Mesa rely on their Councilmembers to maintain a balance among residential, commercial and industrial uses. Dave is committed to maintaining that balance.

Dave will:

  • Ensure that as the City looks at methods to meet the needs of an increasing population, solutions are developed that will retain the character of the La Mesa community
  • Look at ways to attract new businesses that will enhance our community
  • Support activities that increase the customer base for our existing businesses
  • Work with surrounding cities and the County to seek ways to maintain and improve the economy of our City and region
