Trial by fire and backed by Ramona's finest!My first exposure to politics was as the leader of a grass roots effort to fight against Public Ordinance 02-03, Adult Entertainment Zoning, which placed a known high crime rate industry zoning in the heart of our rural community (near local businesses, on a scenic highway, a main road access, a public trail, the bike network, and adjacent to our future library). Although I had no idea how to fight this, there was nothing within me that had the ability to remain silent. |
