AUDIT THE BUDGET

The City budget is prepared based on a plethora of subjective assumptions of future revenue. The people making the assumptions and projections are the City Staff.

Since the City staff depends on a healthy budget to request raises in salaries, it is somewhat of a conflict to have the same people who will be asking for a raise, estimating the City revenues.

The Budget should be audited by outside Auditors with professional experience in City and State finances to insure that no miscalculations are made in the City's finances.
