Trustee; Manteca Unified School District; Trustee Area 5

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Wendy King and I'd like to be a member of your local school board.

I was born and raised in Manteca and am now raising my own family in my hometown. My daughter, Emma, is a first grader at Nile Garden Elementary, where my grandmother, Melba Robertson, taught kindergarten for many years.

I attended Sequoia Elementary from K-8th grade and graduated from Manteca High, class of 1985. I then earned a licence in Cosmetology as well as a Certificate in Facilities Management from U.C. Berkeley.

I currently work in the Facilities Planning Department for the Stockton Unified School District and previously worked in the same department for the Manteca Unified School District.
