Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Paso Robles

I firmly believe in Paso Robles and support our community with a clear vision, guided by common sense and making decisions that are well thought out and researched. Sir Winston Churchill said, "Sometimes our best is simpy not enough...We have to do what is required." I am an elected official--a place held by a few hundred thousand among America's millions. Chosen by a majority to lead, I am empowered to act in the public interest. Occasionally judged wrong, sometimes toasted, sometimes roasted. Yet, having taken counsel and pondered, I shall move us forward. My compensation goes far beyond a fair salary. It is to serve in a profession where no professional training is required, yet where CHARACTER, CANDOR, CONVICTION AND HONESTY are prerequisites. These past four years I have found that difficult situations often bring out qualities in all of us that otherwise might not have risen to the surface, such as COURAGE, FAITH, and our need for one another. It is my hope that you will share my vision for Paso Robles with your vote of confidence in me on November 2nd.
