Biographical Sketch - Mary Ann Reiss

Pismo Beach Mayor Pro Tem Mary Ann Reiss has lived in Pismo Beach since 1994. She was appointed to the Pismo Beach Parks, Recreation and Beautification Commission in 1995, elected to the City Council in 1996 and has served continuously since then. Prior to coming to Pismo Beach, Mary Ann was the Human Resources Director for the City of Upland.

Mary Ann was born and raised in upstate New York, moved to California in 1961, is married with an adult daughter and son and five grandchildren.

As your City Council representative and a retired local government administrator, businesswoman and Pismo Beach resident for more than 10 years, Mary Ann understands the needs and concerns of our community.
