Having invested 3 years learning the complicated business of healthcare, I am well-qualified to continue the Board's progress toward the goal of appropriate healthcare to the citizens of the district. On my watch, while keeping the hospital running, we recruited a new CEO and CFO, produced 2 years of audited financial reports, developed the "turn-around plan", and began implementation of the plan. As treasurer, I led the finance/ business efforts to re-finance and re-position the hospital while maintaining patient services and satisfaction at the highest levels.
