Candidate for
United States Representative; District 49

I believe that people should be maximally free to live thier lives as they see fit. I favor a limited role for the state in intervening in peoples private lives. Such intervention should only occur when the saftey of individuals or the general public is reasonably believed to be threatened.

I believe that our nation benefits from prudent investments in public goods such as education, advanced research, health care for all, roads, bridges, electricity and other utilities. In conjunction with this I believe in fair taxation.

I believe in maintaining our country's security through maintaining defense forces second to none on this planet. I also believe that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Accordingly I favor utilizing diplomacy, multilateral agreements, and international institutions, whenever and wherever posible to ensure our security and our prosperity.

Most fundamentally, I believe in the Constitution of the United States.
