Teach each child to read, write and speak the English language. Reduce state controls in education, create merit pay and increase school room disciplineTeach each child to read, write and speak the English language. Provide more classroom accountability by eliminating bureaucracy caused by the overwhelming number of special category programs. Stop Sacramento education dictation and move, as Arnold said, more decision-making back to the local school board level. Allow teachers whose students achieve better to receive merit pay. Teachers should be given the duty and authority to keep a disciplined schoolrooms which, in turn, will allow learning to succeed better. |
