A letter from Joyce Fahey, Mayor Pro-Tem, Manhattan Beach:

Dear Friend,

I am writing this letter to urge your support of Gerry O'Connor in his bid for Manhattan Beach City Council in the upcoming March election.

I have known Gerry for the past five years and have come to respect him tremendously. He is eminently qualified to serve as your representative and will be a tremendous asset to our City.

In 1999 Gerry was appointed by the City Council to serve as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner until 2003 when he was appointed to the Planning Commission, which he now chairs. In addition to his service as a Commissioner, Gerry has attended virtually every City Council meeting over the past five years and has provided valuable input which reflects his thoughtful analysis of important issues.

Enclosed please find a contribution envelope to assist Gerry in his campaign. He is facing ten challengers who are vying for the three open seats. If you have any questions about Gerry's campaign, please feel free to call me directly, or call Gerry at 376-1547.
