Take Back Our Neighborhoods!

Working for Less Crime, Less Traffic

As a lifelong resident of the 5th District, I chose to run for City Council because I love this City, what it is and what I know it can become. There are many wonderful attributes to our neighborhood. Of all the City Council districts in Los Angeles, ours is the most vibrant.

From Westwood Village to Holmby Hills, from Century City to Encino, we have a district offering an array of culture, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. However, the most important aspect of District 5 is this is the place we have made home.

As I walked through the neighborhood with my wife, Karli, gathering signatures to get on the ballot, I was impressed with the will and dedication of our residents to maintain a sense of community.

Although there were many different issues of concern at the doors, the one common denominator at each house was hope. Hope the problems we face, whether it is traffic, crime or over development, can be solved.

Hope that our quality of life will increase. Hope that someone will listen to our concerns and recommendations.

Working together, I believe we can achieve these goals and take back our neighborhood from special interests.

Together, we can fight to gain more police officers and make our community safer.

Together, we can work on solutions to help relieve traffic congestion.

Together we can work to ensure smart development in our neighborhoods.

I was taught at a young age that if I wasn't willing to do something about a problem, I had no right to complain about it. I am willing to fight to bring our District back on course, but I can't do it without your support.

Our neighborhood is in each voter's hands. Each vote makes a difference. The power of your one vote can determine the outcome of this election and the future of our District.

Together, we can!
