The costs of illegal immigration caused by the federal government's failure to fulfill its obligations are unfairly burdening the states.
The flood of illegal immigration is a growing concern, yet the federal government's response is another guest worker program. We are a sovereign country and need to secure our borders to remain so. The answer is effective workplace enforcement and enforcement of our immigration laws throughout the entire country -- as opposed to just returning those illegal immigrants that we catch right at the border.
