Governing Board Member; Placerville Union School District

My husband and I have had the great fortune to live in the Placerville Union School District for 22 years, our children attended the District's schools from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

The Placerville Union School District is faced with the tremendous challenge of helping students achieve their highest potential with limited resources. To accomplish this, we need to stop wasteful spending, improve student achievment and foster staff relations. Additionally, we need to find ways to keep our students in our schools; last year over 150 of our students attended schools in other districts.

With more than 25 years of experience working in El Dorado County public schools, my knowledge of the public school system is extensive, including budgeting, facilities and considerable interaction with children. I am honest, open-minded and dedicated, and given the great honor to be your representative, I will us my expertise and unique experience to work tirelessly for our children.
