Experience, citizenry and community service, values, goals, fiduciary responsibility, and commitment are what I bring to the Arcata School District and are the reasons I am running.
District achievements during my service on the Board
I have served on the Arcata School Board since mid-1997. The district is stable, fiscally sound, modernized, well-managed, and proud of its high standardized test results and public rankings.
Goals for the District
Public schools face many issues, some within our control and some that are not. As a board member, I will focus on those issues we can manage and work to minimize any negative impacts of those we cannot.
