A Balanced BudgetOver the past few years, the State of California has made it difficult for all school districts to maintain a balanced budget -- Bellflower has a balanced budget! Many districts have layed off teachers and staff workers --Bellflower has NOT!! Many districts still use diesel powered busses that polute our children -- Bellflower uses natural gas driven busses which is healthier for our students and the community and saves the district money! Many districts cut essential programs -- Bellflower has NOT! Bellflower has a balanced budget and the reserves required by the County, while other districts are continuing to cut employees and programs |
