Candidate for
Governing Board Member; El Segundo Unified School District

I have worked tirelessly as a Community Volunteer since my daughter was born 8 years ago. I am the mother of 2 children in our school district.

I was born in Wisconsin, went to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and moved to El Segundo in 1982 to work for Rockwell International. As a Master Scheduler and Financial Advisor for 15 years, I helped manage multi-million dollar project as a liason between departments (Engineering, Contracts, Manufacturing, Logistics...) and the Executive Offices. I gained valuable business experience and have applied that to my community volunteer work.

In addition to the jobs listed, I have served on the Chamber Education Committee, Center St. and Middle School Site Council, as Treasurer of R.O.A.D (Reach Out Against Drugs), and El Segundo Kiwanis Board and High School Key Club Advisor. I am a Brownie Girl Scout Leader and Performing Arts Booster Leader. I have held many jobs in the PTA including Treasurer and current High School Vice President of Parent Programs.
