Governing Board Member; Eastside Union Elementary School District

With the growth we are experiencing our children are often being relocated within our district. If each school is teaching at different levels that poses a problem for the children. I feel it is extremely important that we have a standardized curriculum throughout our district to ensure our childrens education is uninterrupted. I also feel it's important to have a family friendly atmosphere at all of our schools. Parents and students should feel comfortable and welcome by our administration, faculty and board members. At this time of rapid growth, I feel we should be researching future sites for new schools. We shouldn't wait until the need arises, we should anticipate the future now.
