Political Philosophy for Ray Gen
Candidate for |

|
Education is the hallmark of any great society and that's why I'm running for El Camino Community College District Board of Trustees. The El Camino Community College District needs a Boardmember who has experience teaching high school, college and university courses. I have a Doctorate in Education and have taught in the El Segundo Unified School District since 1991. I'm also an adjunct professor at several local universities. If elected, my top priorities are to: --Ensure that our tax dollars are spent in the classroom and not on administrative expenditures. --Make sure that faculty, administrators, students and community members are involved in our District's decision making process. --Make sure funds for building improvements and construction are spent wisely. --Work with our state legislators to increase funding for our College. --Improve our College's vocational education programs. --Televise board meetings. I am honored to be endorsed by El Camino Professors, Police Officers and Classified Employees Associations, as well as local school boardmembers, city councilmembers, educators, students and community leaders. I hope I can count on your vote on November 8. |
