My work as a Board Member starts with a sincere commitment to striving for high quality education that supports the full development of all students.
I believe that our Country's strengths include its freedoms, its cultural and religious diversity and its ability to provide a quality education for all children.
I am committed to:
- Setting high expectations for performance, starting with myself.
- Encouraging ideas and opinions from students, staff, and community members of the district and including their views in my policy making decisions.
- Keeping informed of current education issues within our school district, throughout the state and the nation.
- Acting as an advocate for the schools and our students.
- Establishing a supportive, fair and equitable work environment and evaluation process for all school employees.
- Keeping my primary focus on the best interests of students, always holding myself accountable to those I serve.
