Theoretical Framework for a Better Los Angeles
Just think, we have one opportunity to make L.A. into a nice place. In retrospect, there never has been a complete democracy in America. And even when the constitution was written, it raved about equality and sadly to say, slavery continued. Indeed, the misfunctions of democracy should be observed because many lives and the common good of our nation is before us. For example, Los Angeles has been identified by the media as one of the worst places to live? I blame this on the political machine who's eyes are only on the status-quo and have forgotten about us. Furthermore, they have no notion related to improving our city because they see no problem. I want to change this if elected.
Consequently, the statistics tell no lies. In our area, we have a school board which does not see a problem with the 61% Latino Drop-out rate. We have had past City Councilmen who never attempted to stop the high murder rate, and did nothing to create more jobs. It is profound that the City of Los Angeles continues to give matching funds to candidates who they deem as being successful? Is this rule for first class and not second class candidates? Or is it first class and second class citizens? The other day, I saw cars being pulled over for random inspections. Is this Iraq? America is suppose to be the land of the free. From my knowledge of the constitution, it states that there shall not be any secondary inspections and only at the borders. Of course, it is mostly the poor who get their cars taken away from lack of funds to pay for insurance or lack of money to pay on time for registration tags. Has money defined the treatment of our citizens, or have we fallen to the idea of first class and second class citizenship. From this and correspoding to my past history, I have always been an advocate to improve this district. And I have seen that most representives actually advocate nothing. Meanwhile, they continue to get elected by the pretty mailers. Relatively, this direction needs to change and a new type of representative needs to be elected. Eloquently, Its not too late, we can still improve living conditions. This is why are district needs a Councilman who cares about the people. Its up to you! Please help me to become your next L.A.
