Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Newhall Elementary School District

High standards, core values, quality instruction and a relevant curriculum are essential ingredients for students to maximize their learning opportunities and reach their potential. It is important to provide a safe, motivating environment so children can learn, grown and become responsible citizens.

As a parent at Meadows Elementary school since 1991, I have been involved with PTA, site council, volunteered in the classroom and taught after-school drama. I currently serve on the Newhall School District's Measure K Bond Oversite committee.

Once elected to the Newhall School District, I will serve with pride, integrity, honesty and compassion. I will actively listen to the community for concerns and input into school district decisions. As part of a team, I will create policies that support education for all children.
