Candidate for
Board Member; Carmel Unified School District

As a newspaper journalist for 27 years, I became familiar with countless issues by writing hundreds of stories. As an editor, I supervised and worked daily with reporters. As an associate editor, I wrote hundreds of editorials. As a managing editor and editor, I supervised scores of reporters, editors, photographers and others. I learned how to listen to and talk with people, inside and outside of newsrooms, and to understand their concerns. I will bring this background with me if I am elected to the Carmel School Board.
