The Ross Valley School District has a wonderful tradition of promoting environmental education and practices in our schools. I want to continue to strengthen that commitment to environmentally sound schools. I strongly supported the conversion to solar power at Brookside, Manor, and White Hill schools this year, an environmental program that--as energy prices skyrocket--adds to the financial stability of our district. I will continue to foster discussions and actions that promote an environmental ethic in our school community. |
