This information is provided by the candidate
I'm Bob Dillon, a 20-year Gilroyan. In my youth, I served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, including tours in Vietnam. After my service time, I enrolled in and and graduated from college thanks to the GI Bill. I moved to Gilroy in 1984.
Many of you know my political views not only from my term on the City Council for the last four years, but also for 11 years before that when I was a political columnist for The Dispatch.
I live in Gilroy with Library Commissioner and Licensed Private Investigator Phyllis Armenta, Phyllis' mom, Edna Marrujo, and our faithful Springer Spaniel, Daniel.
