I strongly believe that the San Francisco Assessor-Recorder's office is no place for politics. The Office of the Assessor-Recorder is responsible for quickly and fairly assessing properties and securing the maximum revenue for the people of San Francisco. This work is critical, because when appraisals are made in a fair and timely manner, our City government has the revenue it needs to meet our most pressing needs. As our Assessor-Recorder, I am not allowing a different set of rules for the powerful. I am treating every person and businesses equally. I have direct experience appraising real estate. I have professional training and experience streamlining and reforming businesses and organizations. Throughout my career, I have been a leader in fighting for equal rights and fairness for every San Franciscan. Now I am ready to put my community and leadership experience to work for everyone in our City. As San Francisco's Assessor-Recorder, I am already working to:
