- Millbrae's per-pupil funding is lowest in our County, yet State test scores are far above State & County norms. Academic excellence is priority #1.
- State funding of schools has been severely cut with no relief in sight. We must be wise and innovative in developing new local sources of funding.
- Experience counts. Over the last 3 yrs. we have had to cut spending $1.8 million but have balanced the budget without cutting Ed. programs.
