Candidate for
City Clerk; City of South San Francisco

I am a 20 year resident of South San Francisco and I believe that political change is possible at all levels of government through public participation. With limited resources and a lot of tenacity, I spearheaded a movement two years ago to attain a barrier wall to divide a heavily populated neighborhood from a busy, heavily-used road.

Our success in attaining the soundwall in my neighborhood was not easily achieved. At the time, information and public record documents were withheld and many times when I arrived in offices such as the City Clerk's, I had to search through the public records myself for days at a time with little to no assistance.

Instead of facilitating access to public documents, and working to make a neighborhood, one of many in South San Francisco a better, quieter, place to live, I was treated as a nuisance instead. South San Francisco is ready for a positive change in politics where the people who live,work, and play in this city, can voice their positions and be heard. I respectfully ask for your vote.
