County Legislator; County of Westchester; Legislative District 16 Voter Information Salary: $43,000 (part of Yonkers: part of Wards 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11)
Duties: Among these are to enact laws dealing with the Cnty. and its residents, to adopt an annual budget and to levy taxes, to determine the structure of Cnty. govt. and the number of Cnty. employees and their salaries and to initiate new projects and programs as the need arises. There are 17 Cnty. Districts. Candidate Statements: Candidates were asked to make a statement in 30 words or less identifying and prioritizing the most important issues facing their District and the Cnty. as a whole. |
