Eileen and her husband, Rob, have lived in Piedmont since 1989 with their son, Mike, who is a junior at Piedmont High School.

Eileen earned a B.F.A. in Metal Arts from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1978. Her professional career was as a regional sales representative for jewelry designers.

Since 1996, she has been a full-time community volunteer and fund raiser, dividing her time between the Piedmont Unified School District and the Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay.

• Initiated and chaired Endowment Fund Campaign for the Piedmont Educational Foundation. Trained volunteers who have built fund from $200,000 to $3,000,000 since 2000

• President Piedmont Middle School Parent's Club (2002-03)

• Active roles on Parents'Club Boards at Beach Elementary, Piedmont Middle School and Piedmont High School (1997-2006)

• Leadership roles in school parcel tax campaigns (2001,2005)

• Campaign Chair East Bay Jewish Federation (1997-99)
