Top Priorities if Elected |
- Quality of Education: need to focus our efforts and search to find out what more we could offer to the students at all levels of the schools.
 - School Safety: Seismic retrofitting is the current top priority and needs to be done effectively and with a maximum of fiscal restraint.
 - Open Process: Public input is critical for making the best decision for seismic safety and for keeping our curriculum at the highest level.

- Support for Measure E and Community Input
 -
I support Measure E as long as we maintain full community input, technical excellence and a maximum of fiscal responsibility. Letter printed in Piedmont Post Feb. 15, 2005.
 - Seismic Retrofitting: The BIG decisions are made early
 -
The most signficant decisions regarding the seismic retrofitting of our schools will be made at the beginning of the process. These decisions must be carefully reviewed.
 - Maintaining the Quality of Education in Piedmont Schools
 -
We need to have community input into the review of the curriculum at our schools so that we can give our students the best possible education.
