1. In your opinion, how does the City of Lawndale benefit from having an elected city clerk?

Answer from Pat Kearney:

BY HAVING A ELECTED CITY CLERK, THE RESIDENTS HAVE SOMEONE WHO LIVES IN THE CITY,AND KNOWS ABOUT THE CONCERNS OF THE RESIDENTS.AND HAS A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCERNS, WHEN THE CITY CLERKS OFFICE IS PRESENTED WITH THESE CONCERNS.

2. What should be done to 'get out the vote' in Lawndale?

Answer from Pat Kearney:

MORE WALKING DOOR TO DOOR TO GET NEW VOTERS, AND TO INFORM THE VOTERS TO GET OUT AND VOTE......

3. {City Election Schedule] What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a city election in April of the even-numbered years? Do you favor continuing the practice?

Answer from Pat Kearney:

IT IS EASIER FOR THE VOTERS TO REMEMBER VOTING ON EVEN YEARS. AND YES I AM IN FAVOR OF CONTINUING THE EVEN YEAR ELECTION.
