I would like to see the CSD explore ways to continue improving the quality of our drinking water. While we have come a long way in improving the quality and taste of our water with the construction of 2 separate water treatment and storage plants, there is still more that can be done.
I would like to see us remove the hardness from the water; this is something that affects each and every one of us on a daily basis. I don't believe every citizen should have to purchase and maintain a small water treatment system (Reverse Osmosis and individual Water Softeners) within their homes. This should be something that the district could work towards on a larger, more comprehensive scale. The Town's existing water treatment plants have been constructed to accommodate this service when the community is willing to support that additional cost.
