Candidate for
Director; Ambrose Recreation and Park District

• As a Bay Point Municipal Advisory Council Member I have worked closely with the Directors of the Ambrose Recreation and Park Board during the last 5 years. I have attended Park Board meetings and have in detail reviewed there most recent budget. If elected I would ensure that tax payers money is used wisely and the resources available to the Park district are utilized in a cost efficient manner befitting all Bay Point Residents.

• Currently the Ambrose Recreation and Park District contracts with Contra Costa County to provide maintenance services to the Driftwood Drive California Skyline area. The area has deteriorated and if elected I would ensure there were specific maintenance schedules put into place to restore this area to the way it looked several years ago. If elected I would ensure prior to signing contracts that the Ambrose Recreation and Park District had the equipment required and resources available to fulfill the contract in its entirity.

• If elected I would ensure the Ambrose Park District offered recreational programs for all ages. We need to ensure our parks are kept in optimal condition, that resources are used wisely and that there are enough program choices to ensure tax payers are receiving the benefits of a program that is suppose to serve the entire community.
