- HABITAT FOR ARCATA
 -
One thousand affordable Victorian style townhomes within walking distance to the plaza. Built with green technology and affordable to an Arcata resident or worker who is making under $30,000 per year or more.
 - ZERO EMISSION SHUTTLE TAXIS AND CITY CAR SHARE PROGRAM
 -
Scrap the A&M system and start from scratch with zero emission shuttle taxis that will be available within five to ten minutes at any time of the day and accessible by e-mail, phone, text messaging or just plain flagging it down from the street. Augmenting the shuttle taxis would be a City Car Share program, a zero-emission car library if you will, lending cars and trucks to Arcatans when public transportation, biking and walking will not do.
 - The New Economy
 -
There is a vital new economy to be found in conservation, and that is where the future lies. Arcata along with HSU has a small window of opportunity to seize this new economy and become a leading center of environmental innovation and implementation.
