Position Papers
THE ENVIRONMENT
The water district has consistently worked to minimize pollution and cost. I will support appropriate and cost effective action if ongoing studies show that the district can help to improve the quality of Malibu Creek and Lagoon.
COST CONTROL
Energy efficiency in district operations is now critical to low cost service. My experience as an engineer qualifies me to monitor the projects that attack this problem.
ZONING AND THE WATER DISTRICT
The water district can not set or enforce zoning, that must be done by the agencies assigned to the task. We must all be committed to seeing that zoning is sensible and that zoning laws are enforced.
